One of the few true Tier-IV data center facilities in the country, the Miami Data Center boasts 108,500+/- square feet with 38,000+/- square feet of raised technical floor. The center features twelve 500Kva UPS modules in true 2(N+1) redundancy. Six 2,500Kva Caterpillar generators contained in an environmentally protected interior location within the building provide over 10Mw of back-up power generation. Dual 13.2Kva feeders from FPL provide utility power with an ultimate load potential of 20Mw. Seven 240-ton Trane chillers provide 2(N+1) redundancy on the mechanical side. The facility also has modern fire detection and suppression systems (including VESDA, full-coverage FM-200 and multi-zoned double-interlock pre-action sprinklers).
